ISO 15189 and ISO 17025 Consultation and Training

ISO 15189:2012 Training Courses:

This course is designed to provide delegates with an understanding of the requirements of ISO 15189:2012.

ISO 15189:2012 'Medical Laboratories – Particular requirements for quality and competence' specifies quality system requirements applicable to medical laboratories. These requirements cover arrangements for requisition, patient preparation, identification, collection of samples, transportation, storage, processing and examination of clinical samples, together with subsequent validation, interpretation, reporting and advice, in addition to considerations relating to safety and ethics in medical laboratory work.

- Interpret the basic requirements of ISO 15189 and its inter-relationship between ISO/IEC 17025 management system standards.
- Identify the key requirements and actions that would be required to meet ISO 15189 requirements.
- Personnel responsible for procurement and evaluation of Laboratory Services.

ISO 17025:2005 Training Courses:

ISO/IEC 17025:2005 specifies the general requirements for the competence to carry out tests and/or calibrations, including sampling. It covers testing and calibration performed using standard methods, non-standard methods, and laboratory-developed methods.

1. Gain an understanding of laboratory management systems, how to utilize them in an organization, and learn how to derive value to their organization.
2. Provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the laboratory accreditation process, an in depth knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 Management and Technical Requirements, and an effective process for its implementation.
